I purchased this as a plug and Play replacement for the stock ECU but when I plugged it in the vehicle would not start and it would not read engine speed. After speaking with technical support, we figured out that the engine speed signal wire was not getting its 5 volt reference. So I had to add a resistor from another 5 volt reference source to the engine speed circuit and that caused it to bring up the voltage enough that it could read the engine speed. I don't know how to interpret this besides, it was mis manufactured. After I got that sorted then then it was the jumpers on the board for the injection type were set up for sequential injection. But this engine computer and software is not set up for sequential injection. So I had to move the jumpers. Once I did that it worked fine but these seem like oversights that should have been easily caught.
