Description
The RMA Service Fee covers the evaluation, diagnostic testing, and inspection of products purchased from DIYAutoTune. This service applies to products both within and outside of warranty.
Included Services:
Product Evaluation
- Comprehensive inspection of product contents
- Diagnostic testing to identify issues
- Repair evaluation (if necessary)
Shipping
- Domestic Return Shipping: Ground shipping back to the customer is included in this fee. Expedited shipping options are available for an additional cost.
- International Shipping: Customers outside the U.S. will incur additional shipping costs. While we are not responsible for customs or brokerage fees, we will make efforts to minimize these costs.
Warranty Processing
- If the product is under warranty and requires repair, the RMA Service Fee will be refunded.
Non-Warranty Repairs:
- If repairs are required for a product no longer under warranty, you will receive a detailed quote for the necessary work. Repairs will only begin after you approve the quote.
- Non-warranty repairs are billed at $75 per hour plus the cost of materials.
Warranty Terms:
- Physical damage, abuse, or acts of God are not covered under warranty.
- Proof of purchase by the Original Owner from an authorized dealer is required for warranty consideration.
- Repairs are warrantied for 90 days or through the end of the product’s original warranty term, whichever is longer.
Important Notes:
- Save Your Data: Save any configurations, firmware, or tune files before sending your product. Diagnostic testing may involve resetting firmware or settings.
- Unclaimed Products: Products left unclaimed for more than 60 days after evaluation will be discarded.
- RMA Service Fee: The RMA Service Fee applies to the diagnostics of one product. If you are submitting multiple items for diagnostic evaluation, you must purchase the RMA Service Fee for each individual product, unless directed otherwise by your tech representative.
Steps to Submit Your RMA:
1. Purchase the RMA Service Fee:
- Complete the required form
- Add this item to your cart
- Submit your order
2. After Your Order is Processed:
- You will receive an email with your unique RMA number
- Be sure to include this RMA number with your shipment
3. Prepare Your Shipment:
- Package the product securely to prevent damage during shipping
- Clearly include the unique RMA number in the package
4. Send Us Your Product:
- The customer is responsible for shipping costs to DIYAutoTune
- Use a shipping method with tracking and insurance to prevent loss or damage
- Ship your product to the address provided in your RMA confirmation email
